Android 14 receives its first official upgrade with November’s security fixes-A novel update
Android 14 took a little longer to arrive than we expected, but after going public at the launching of the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, development appears to be moving well. Google’s beta program has already begun testing the December Pixel Feature Drop, and the firm has begun rolling out its first official update to Android 14 for eligible Pixel phones.
Google published the November security update today on its Pixel support forums, as it usually does on the first Monday of each month, noting that it has a version number of UP1A.231105.003 on most devices (but ends in 001 on older Pixels and 004 on the Pixel 8 series). A number of bug updates have been released to improve the experience on Pixel smartphones, most notably one that addresses the green tint issue that some users were seeing with the always-on display.
